Opening the Door – 14th Annual Fundraiser

Recovery Cafe San Jose hosted its 14th Annual Fundraiser, Opening the Door on Thursday, April 9th at Scott’s Seafood Ballroom in downtown San Jose.

Doors opened at 8:00 AM, with the breakfast buffet beginning at 8:30 AM. The program ran from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

The event showcased the organization’s 2025 impact, featured the Cafe Community Chorus, and included inspiring stories from Cafe members. It concluded with the presentation of the annual awards: Bridge Builder of the Year, Community Partner of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.

Proceeds from the event supported the organization’s ongoing mission to uplift individuals working to recover from addiction, homelessness, incarceration, and mental health challenges through a loving community, meals, classes, and resources.
